SynCardia is seeking a Quality Engineer in the Tucson area to support activities concerned w/ development, application, & maintenance of Quality standard for manufacturing processes, materials, & products; to implement quality methods throughout the organization, drive the use of quality tools in operations & product development, & assist in resolving major quality issues.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math + three (3) years work exp. in a regulated industry, exp w/ electronic/hard copy document management systems; understanding of GMP/GDP/GLP guidelines, thorough understanding of a quality system & its development, documentation & implementation w/ respect to domestic & international standards & requirements, of the audit process, & problem solving & quality improvement tools & techniques; ability to develop & implement quality programs, to plan, control & assure product & process quality in accordance w/ quality principles, & to acquire & analyze manufacturing data using appropriate standard quantitative & statistical methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate process & analysis improvement.
